J.V. Sadler is a Cincinnati native, BA graduate of Oberlin College, and MA graduate of University of Cincinnati.

Sadler's work has been published by Flame Tree Publishing, Poetry Is Life Publishing, and Last Exit Press. Sadler is also alumni of the Rosemary's House Writers Residency in Sithonia, Greece (Mentor: Jenny Zhang, Season 2, Cohort 3)
